Villa Tasca

A few weekends ago We went to Villa Tasca. It is an agriturismo. It's the equivalent of a bed and breakfast on a farm.

These are geap. They are a cross between goats and sheep and they are all over Sicilia. The farmers usually just walk them across the road. They stay in packs. 

At Villa Tasca I trained for the zombie apocalypse. 

I also tried to ride a horse. I was terrified but my horse was pregnant and lazy so it ended up well. 

Oh the food. The food was absolutely amazing!

These were the appetizers. Lots of fresh vegetables. 

This is pistachio pasta. It was really good. 

Main course, no idea exactly what the meat was but it was delicious. And dessert! 

I tried to have an after dinner cognac. It was awful, but I felt fancy.

 Delicious ice cream.

  First harvest olive oil. Tasted wonderful. 

 Crepes with some mushroom stuffing. It was good. I ate a full one and I don't usually like mushrooms. 

This is fresh fennel. We put a little olive oil, vinegar, and salt on it. Tasted amazing with the meat below.













This stuff tasted absolutely amazing with some of the fennel on it. I have no idea what the meat was, maybe pork? But it was good.

This place was amazing.
